Here and There, A Little Bit More

With new development in our lives and heavy travelling, the yard was quite forsaken. The Plot to Happiness is being put on hold on as mentioned in previous post and one of the fence post gone kaputt so Odyssey had access to it although she's just walking around, no harm done.
Here's a little update to what's going on.
The egg magnolia has been flowering a few times, I think this is the third one. It looked so cute.

My poor maidenhair fern almost died twice but it bounced back.

The red magnolia sprouted new branch and the leaves are so much bigger! I'm very happy that's she's happy.

One of the plants I acquired from Austria in April was Korean mint. It's not doing as well as I thought it'd be. Also, the two mints that I had kinda died too.

Got bay leaf plant from Austria too. Doing better than I've expected in humid climate.

Lastly, I attempted to grow Alpine strawberries again and this time worked. I could see new runners growing and it is growing a fruit too.

My hydrangeas are doing alright except for the gardener kept trimming when he cut my grass. So annoying!

Green is Happiness

Ylang-ylang is flowering again.

Not exactly green but...

More shoots coming out! She's being attacked by whiteflies and spidermites, was told to use Brogard to counter... seems to be working but did burn some of the leaves.

Chinese kale seedlings not doing that great.

My basil is growing so much aerial roots so I'm water-rooting a couple.

Magnolia Coco is a slow grower. I've bought another one and also another lowland hydrangea. Am planning to have a pink and a blue hydrangea.

Dill bounced back and grew new shoots.

 Tuberose growing new shoots too.
What's been propagated: Thai basil, basil, avocados, sweet potato.

Planted a couple of onions for its greens.

Tillandsias that I got from last Xmas. One died while the other collecting dog hair. LOL.

Plumeria over at another apartment is indeed very happy.

Homegrown

Picked some Syngonium aka arrowhead plant while walking the dogs for the green wall over at another apartment. Some of the plants didn't survive so I have to replace the empty slots.

More new shoots appearing for Magnolia Lily.

Highland hydrangea is not giving up.

For some weird reason, my lemon's losing leaves.

New shoots for Magnolia Coco too.

The longan was pretty stagnant and then suddenly one wild branch of leaves appeared.

Sowed more bachelor's button seeing the smaller died.

Dill from the supermarket is somewhat surviving.

Coco has been going through my mint.

Pictorial (So Belated)

Was a little busy of the week.
Edamame blooms come in few colors apparently, I have purple and white so far. I believe there's also yellow.

Tiny pods forming!

Gorgeous Bali Hai Gold, as usual.

I trimmed the Adenium and am thinking to give the avocado seedlings away but to whom??? Meanwhile the lavender revived.

Avocado Miki.

A shot of the Magnolia Lily for future comparison.
Lowland Hydrangea.

Magnolia Coco. Slow growing as I read somewhere.

So it seems acclimatised hydrangea is still tricky.

Kaffir lime. It was quite neglected until recently I started giving her some fertilizer - the new leaves is the proof she's happy again.

The very abused strawberry is now potted here!

The Indian curry seedling that I repotted to a smaller pot to give way to lowland hydrangea.

Mixed of local aloe vera, cactus, succulents, Amaryllis, mint and chives.

 New ylang ylang bloom.
Haven't seen any growth in this longan.

Tuberose!
