Goodbye

For an unknown reason, the leggy Magnolia Coco dried up and died. That's very sad especially when I'm losing the hydrangea too.

Birdnest fern doing pretty well, not the Santorini succulent though. Sigh.

Ylang-ylang blooming.

Now that I'm back to just one Magnolia Coco....

Trying to salvage the dying hydrangea, I also planted the sweet potato slips into the same pot.

The sun's been pretty intense lately, my lowland hydrangea is being burned that I shifted to a shaded area.

Assorted plants area consisting dill, chives, bachelor's button, cacti and amaryllis.

One For The Road

Will be away for a few days with some girlfriends tomorrow so the plants will under the care of the BF. I hope he waters them.
Recent heavy rain balded my Bali Hai Gold. Will pulling out my edamame when I get back next week, the pods are pathetically thin and sparse.

The new longan leaf gets bigger and bigger everyday. I wonder what's the actual size.

Magnolia Lily had a little setback after being attacked by spider mites. She lost some leaves.

Hydrangea is beginning to branch out. Yes.

Balsam and highland hydrangea.

Albeit slow, Magnolia Coco shows some growth.

3 cute bachelor's button seedlings accompanying the big one.

Tuberose sprouts more. I wonder how do you pronounce the word tuberose - tu-be-rose or tube-rose?

Sweet potato is beginning to root.

Nice growth - I trimmed off the older ones to make tzatziki for dinner just now.

The aerial roots of the basil are growing. I wonder what so I do with it? Should I sell them like the ones from the supermarket?

Thai basil I bought from supermarket. I'm attempting to root them again. This time I will leave them longer in the water. I was too impatient. Also, they begin to flower. Wonder if I would get some seeds?

One more lavender died. Sigh.

I bought a pack of heirloom tomatoes and I saved some seeds and sowed them. I thought it was a failure but the babies showed up today! One thing is that I don't know what I will get.
Heirloom tomatoes are these:

Green is Happiness

Ylang-ylang is flowering again.

Not exactly green but...

More shoots coming out! She's being attacked by whiteflies and spidermites, was told to use Brogard to counter... seems to be working but did burn some of the leaves.

Chinese kale seedlings not doing that great.

My basil is growing so much aerial roots so I'm water-rooting a couple.

Magnolia Coco is a slow grower. I've bought another one and also another lowland hydrangea. Am planning to have a pink and a blue hydrangea.

Dill bounced back and grew new shoots.

 Tuberose growing new shoots too.
What's been propagated: Thai basil, basil, avocados, sweet potato.

Planted a couple of onions for its greens.

Tillandsias that I got from last Xmas. One died while the other collecting dog hair. LOL.

Plumeria over at another apartment is indeed very happy.

Homegrown

Picked some Syngonium aka arrowhead plant while walking the dogs for the green wall over at another apartment. Some of the plants didn't survive so I have to replace the empty slots.

More new shoots appearing for Magnolia Lily.

Highland hydrangea is not giving up.

For some weird reason, my lemon's losing leaves.

New shoots for Magnolia Coco too.

The longan was pretty stagnant and then suddenly one wild branch of leaves appeared.

Sowed more bachelor's button seeing the smaller died.

Dill from the supermarket is somewhat surviving.

Coco has been going through my mint.

Old Love

Stopped by at my favourite florist to pick up some tuberose but my old love greeted me at the door so I  brought them home.

Old love - Calla Lilies. How pretty and elegant!

Tillandsia that I got for last Christmas, the other one didn't survived. I left it too long in the water.

Bought a bunch of dill from the supermarket to grow. They wilted - I suppose it's too hot.

Sowed some Kailan a couple of days ago.
Edamame went a bit crazy. :D
