Long Absence

Jet lag is a constant pain, I haven't have the time to really do anything - fuss around Odyssey (diagnosed with hips dysplasia and due to have surgery next week) as she's not eating well, some laundry. I really look forward to this weekend.

The only thing I've done at the gemusegarten was pick this tomato off the plant and trim it as it's dried out. There are still flowers growing on it.

On another hand, the plumeria at the other apartment has bloomed and I totally have no idea what variety it is. Since I haven't the time to visit, the BF took the pictures to share. So pretty, aren't they?

One Before the Road

 Last Saturday saw me visiting the usual nursery to pick up some plumeria seedlings and desert rose to bring to Berlin this week. 

I bought a yellow plumeria and another grey purple (according to the guy), 2 desert roses (single petal, darker pink), a kaffir lime and a lantana (aka chicken shit flowers).

Will also transport these in my suitcase bare-rooted.

Because the nursery guy told me they have purple grey plumeria, I scored a larger seedling for myself. :)

How my 3 'matoes doing now. They are bigger than the ones I bought from supermarket.
