Spent a couple of minutes at the balcony to just make sure everything's alright.

Clockwise from left: Magnolia Coco, Hydrangea & Magnolia Lily. Hydrangea was a little wilted when I transplanted it, she looks better this morning after a huge splash of water.

Magnolia Lily close up. The leaves were hole-y, indicating no pesticides used on her but the color is a little too pale to my liking, I hope she will like it here.

I was short of pots so I transplanted the Indian curry plant to a smaller pot.

New Purchases

I took a leap of faith and spent a little more than I should to get a rare plant - Magnolia Lily. I found one via online platform while I was looking for tuberose. Happiest day of my life as at the same time they sell lowland hydrangea. They have arrived today but I couldn't take any photos as I broke my iPhone and currently using a smartphone that doesn't have a good camera.

This is the only picture I took when I arrived to show to the seller as she asked for a photo.

I hope to take more pictures tomorrow during the day with a semi-DSLR. Meanwhile let me feast your eyes with this Saucer magnolia (in my wishlist!) in the Austrian home that's currently blooming.

Because I was excited. I transplanted all three and the Avocado Miki to pots. I also stacked them up with empty pots so they could get more sun.

Also may I just share the Lily of the Incas in my bathroom. Just gorgeous.

Brightening Up The Day

My first edamame bloom. What a bright shade of white.

First bloom of the year after a year without bloom.

Swung by the local florist to get a bunch of parvifolia, tuberose and Lily of the Incas. There's only 5 stalks of tuberose and its scent grows stronger at night and can be quite suffocating.

I'm quite inspired to grow my own tuberose plants - it's definitely in my wish list.

Extra stalks that I made into this and another bunch in the bathroom.

24/7 Summer Feel

When Opportunity Strikes

We had our air-cons serviced so it was a great opportunity to clean up the balcony as we had to move the pots for the service guy to get to the air-con unit. Cleared the leaves off and washed the floor as the service guy had a hose. 

Cleaned the wild strawberry plant (it was treated with neem oil solution for whiteflies so it trapped a lot of dust and doghair).

Moved the avocado seedlings to where my adenium was. Adenium is in the house now.

Transplanted the longan into a pot.

Procrastinating .

Lastly, a throwback. I missed having hydrangea blooms!

New addition - Longan Lada (Chilli) marcotted. A marcotted Avocado Miki is on the way to me now. :D

French beans and edamames are growing pretty good. 

Can't say the same of my hydrangea and lavender. I made a mistake by giving them fish emulsion.

I made a wrong move by feeding the lavendar fish emulsion.

I left Odyssey at the balcony unattended and she dug out my strawberry planter. Gosh, I hope it survives.

A little worried about the new magnolia coco but turned out it's growing new shoots. 

So are my hydrangea.

Lemon is also growing shoot. I need to check if it's grafted with the seller tomorrow!

I'm already thinking to grow longan and this is just a test since one of the seeds was growing shoot so I planted it. I will definitely be buying a grafted one.

 Avocado seedlings. If I could, I would buy a grafted/marcotted one too. Just take too long to grow from seed and the risk of it not fruiting is too high.
