Could This Be???

One of my magnolia cuttings I bought from Sydney seems to be starting to form nodes??? Oh my god!

There's another cutting seems to just started to split and form those nodes. Some of the cuttings were rotting so I cut them and moved them to a shorter vase.

I will be giving one of my mother of thousands seedlings away to my colleague. She has tried keeping a succulent but it died within months. Sad.

of Portulaca, Succulents and Others

A colleague at work ordered a bunch of portulaca cuttings but they were left in the parcel over the weekend, when she got back to work on Monday, the cuttings were affected. She split the cuttings with me to salvage the cuttings seeing that I'm developing a greener thumb.

Another colleague has a pot at work so we planted some and left the pot at the windowsill.
The ones I brought home, I stuck them into various pots.

Back to my own balcony garden:

The magnolia cuttings are growing and coming out from dormancy.
.
All 3 of the magnolia seeds I sowed germinated. I transplanted the biggest to the pot.

Nancy the hydrangea survived after a scare.

The adenium is flowering again.

Baby mother of thousands growing their own babies already.

Mexican Stonecrop.

The most common succulent: Echeveria.

Bluebean.

The vertical garden at the apartment didn't look good at all, spent an hour fixing it. Will need to buy more plants soon. Many died.

Update on the Locals

A little more than a week away from home saw some plants flourished, some fell back.

Raab rapini flourished but not without a pesy infestation.

Tomato still growing despite falling back. A new shoot grew rapidly I cut the main one off.

The hydrangea cutting with the strongest root system withered. Quickly stuck them into soil to see if it will help.

Couple of days before leaving, Nancy the hydrangea withered so much I believed it was water-clogged.

I should harvest the ginger soon.

Adenium grew some blooms surprisingly.

Some baby mother of thousands that I gotten along the street.

The cactus was probably water-clogged too. Lavender suffered a bit too.

I didn't get to see the gardenia bloom again. Sigh.

The avocado shot up.

The plumeria corner, forever infested with the white stuff.

Aussia Haul

Was almost overjoyed when I found magnolia cuttings at Harris Farms Market. I've been wanting to plant a pink magnolia! I took the bunch that had the biggest stalks and after quick internet research, they might be of white variety. Trimmed most of the leaves off and perched them in a glass of water at the corner of the room that had the most sun.

A couple of nights later, we went to Harris Farm Markets again and I went to the flower area to search for pink magnolia, and this might be a good bet - they are of smaller and the leaves were longer.

Thai basil cuttings from pho shop. Don't waste!
Another cutting of what I thought was Magnolia, from Reuben Hills' bathroom. Heh, I wonder what tree is this going to be.

Three variety of succulents that I picked up.

Wanting to be as green as we can, we picked up seeds too.

Bought pink magnolia seeds (as backup) and Meyer Lemon seeds from eBay Australia.

This was the mother plant of the unknown cutting I took from Reuben Hills' bathroom. So pretty.

Successfully brought home. Magnolia cuttings now serve as centre piece for the dining table while being water-rooted.

Thai basil.
